Jefferson’s McGarity’s Restaurant Shuts Down for Good

Jefferson, Texas Has so Many Delicious Options for Self Proclaimed Foodies

One Jefferson restaurant just made so many hearts drop by announcing their permanent closure. McGarity's Restaurant & Saloon Irish Pub offers classic dishes and "daring new ventures into uncharted territories of food". The eatery opened up 8 years ago for business and they were a fun spot for lunch and dinner.  They claim that the menu is where Ireland meets America.

There are 3 McGarity's listed on their website, One in Marshall, Texas one in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and the third one has announced their closure in Jefferson.

McGarity’s took to their social media to announce that they officially closed on Sunday, February 16th due to non-lease renewal. They claim that they didn't want to close and that they were forced to close down. They said that if you want to purchase a part of McGarity’s Jefferson location history, the pub will be open to sell certain items like; silverware, plates, pictures, coolers, ice makers, a Walk-in cooler, and a Walk-in Freezer.

If this was one of your favorite eateries in Jefferson, you can make the trek over to Marshall, Texas, the restaurant is inside the Clarion Pointe Hotel. If you are down for a mini road trip you can check out their new location which they claimed they designed from scratch in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The social media post claims "Our Eureka Springs location looks just like it was picked up out of Ireland and placed here in this beautiful tourist town in the Ozarks. The ambiance is unmatched."
