Vin Diesel would be proud! Katy Perry's latest hit, 'Dark Horse' (featuring Juicy J), just landed in the No. 1 slot on the Billboard Hot 100.

There is no stopping Perry when it comes to radio smashes. The track, a dark, slightly gothic song about being careful how you behave when you dive head first into love, galloped into the top slot, giving Perry her ninth chart-topper.

For those keeping score at home, prior Perry numero unos are as follows: 'I Kissed a Girl,' 'California Gurls' (feat. Snoop Dogg), 'Teenage Dream,' 'Firework, 'E.T.' (feat. Kanye West), 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F),' 'Part of Me' and 'Roar.'

The singer holds the distinction of being the sole artist to have gone No. 1 in each year of this decade. Congrats, Katy! We're sure you'll have a No. 1 in 2015 to keep the streak going, given your track record.

Perry is stoked about the song's performance on the charts, saying, "This No. 1 is the most unexpected one I've ever had. 'Dark Horse' has been a dark horse of a song, since August when the Katy Cats voted to release it early on iTunes, before 'Prism' even came out. I'm so thrilled and grateful to have these moments.”

Perry will celebrate the No. 1 by beginning rehearsals for her Pristmatic Tour.
