Viral Video Alert: Watch Katy Perry Do the Weather

Katy Perry has added another achievement to her already impressive resume: meteorologist. Well, amateur meteorologist. 

The "Dark Horse" singer knocked out the morning weather forecast for an Australian news station, wielding a "nifty wand" that we're guessing is what gives all weathermen their prophetic powers. (What's that? There's a science behind forecasting the weather? Suuuure.)

Perry struggled a little with some of the unfamiliar city names, but otherwise nailed it. And for any viewers who may not have understood her unique weather forecast, the pop star had some sage advice: "If you don't understand all this, I'm sure you have an app on your phone."

It was definitely a cute and funny moment for the singer, who's currently in Australia for a leg of her "Prism" tour. Check out the video below.
