Kristin Davis has welcomed another little bundle to her family, an infant son!

According to a Facebook post shared by E! News journalist Marc Malkin, who spilled the beans of Davis' latest extension to her family Saturday evening (May 5), the Sex and the City alum confirmed the news of her recent adoption to People exclusively.

"Kristin Davis is expanding her family. I can exclusively reveal that the “Sex and the City” star has adopted a baby boy," Malkin captioned the post with an image of the 53-year-old performer, who first entered motherhood in 2011 when she adopted her daughter, Gemma Rose Davis, who is now 7-years-old.

“Now she’s blessed times two!” Malkin wrote. “Congrats!”

The actress, best known her roles in Melrose PlaceOf Two Minds, and as Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the HBO rom-com franchise, has spoken candidly about the stress she felt during her first trial to maternity.

During an appearance on Anderson Cooper 360 in March 2012, the Colorado native detailed the "terrifying" process that left her "pins and needles" when she tried for her first adoption.

“They tell you that when [your child] first comes, you should think of it as babysitting in case the birth mom changes her mind,” Davis described to Anderson Cooper on his program. “Every state is different, but in [California] it’s 48 hours. So you’re trying to think that you’re a babysitter but that’s kind of impossible!”

Davis described how anxious she was about making an attachment to Gemma, but that she eventually got the hang of it.

“When I first got her I would sleep with her on my chest, because when you adopt you’re very concerned about bonding,” Davis remarked. “You’re not supposed to have comforters or anything around, obviously, because they could suffocate.”

She continued: “So every night I would have these nightmares that she’s under the comforter… I’ll wake up and be like, ‘Where’s Gemma? Where’s Gemma?’ … and she’s in her crib, safe and sound.”

No reports have indicated the name of Davis' newly adopted son as of late.
