Last Wednesday, December 29th, a poor cat was stuck in a garage door. Then Deputy Mike Scott, the cat saver, took the call.

“Never in all of my years was I prepared to encounter what I saw upon my arrival,” Deputy Scott said. It was with the help of the neighbors the deputy saved the cat.

The cat and homeowner left their home to get lumber for repairs on the home. The owner believes the cat must have been sleeping on the garage door when it was raised then after leaving it lowered trapping the cat.

I love how embarrassed the cat is.

“I like to be able to assist with taking calls like such so that the younger deputies can stay available for criminal complaints and investigations,” said Deputy Mike Scott.
