Lady Gaga has been served a subpoena for text messages in the ongoing legal battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke. According to JustJared.com, Dr. Luke's counsel wants Gaga to sit for a deposition, and the pop star hasn't yet agreed to a date to do so.

Dr. Luke's attorney told JustJared.com, "In connection with Dr. Luke’s defamation claims against Kesha, various third parties are being deposed by both sides, including celebrities. Dr. Luke’s counsel served a subpoena on Lady Gaga because she has relevant information regarding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha. This motion has become necessary because Dr. Luke’s counsel has not been able to obtain, despite repeated request, a deposition date from Lady Gaga.”

Supposedly, Gaga and Dr. Luke engaged in a series of texts in 2013 regarding the producer's alleged sexual assault of Kesha. Gaga shared a "heavily-redacted four page spreadsheet of the text messages" with Dr. Luke's representation according to Page Six.

Gaga has publicly declared her support for Kesha in the case against Dr. Luke, so any possible texts messages stating otherwise would be in direct opposition to her actions.

In 2016, she said the following about Kesha in an interview, “I feel like she’s being very publicly shamed for something that happens in the music industry all the time, to women and men…I just want to stand by her side because I can’t watch another woman that went through what I’ve been through suffer.”
