Cajun country is set to be showcased on yet another national television show.

Jeremy Connor, chef at Spoonbill Watering Hole & Restaurant in Lafayette, will be featured on an upcoming episode of the Cooking Channel's "Man Food Fire." It airs this Wednesday, July 10th at 8:00 pm.

Filming took place at Maison Madeleine at Lake Martin. The "Backyard BBQ Blowouts" episode will feature Jeremy's sugarcane fish roast.

There is actually more Cajun goodness coming up on this show. The following episode will feature a visit to Paul's Meat Market and Grocery in Ville Platte along with a trip to New Orleans to visit the restaurant Bourree.

"Man Food Fire" is currently in its 8th season on The Cooking Channel and stars host Roger Mooking as he visits pit-masters, chefs and home cooks across the country who use fire to create complex, flavorful dishes.
