LeBron James Calls Trump a ‘Bum’ for His Steph Curry Tweet: ‘Ain’t No Invite’
LeBron James slammed Donald Trump after he withdrew Stephen Curry's invitation to the White House. Apparently, Curry said he wasn't going to join the team’s visit to the White House for winning the national championship.
Trump caught wind of Curry’s comment and disinvited him outright in his petty tweet. "Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!" he wrote.
Bron Bron responded to Trump's tweet with the ultimate clap back. "U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to the White House was a great honor until you showed up!" he wrote.
Within the past 24 hours, President Trump has pissed off athletes in both the NFL and NBA. On Friday (Sept. 22), Trump told a crowd at an Alabama rally that NFL team owners should fire players who take a knee during the national anthem. In response to those remarks, 15 new NFL players are planning to kneel or raise a fist during the national anthem.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, folks are posting hilarious memes and comments about Trump's petty tweet to Steph Curry.
"With Steph, LeBron and Warriors trending you would think it was for the NBA Finals. But it has to do with another orange object," wrote one person. Another commenter tweeted, "Steph Curry is a class act. Class is something Trump equates to net worth, not character or integrity. Trump is a pig."
