Looks Like Hurricane Season Isn’t Over Just Yet
Needless to say this has been one of the more active Hurricane Seasons in recent years with not only a lot of storms but very powerful ones. And just when we thought it was over with there pops up another Tropical Storm heading for the US coastline.
Tropical Storm Philippe formed just off the coast of Cuba and will soon be hitting the Southern coast of Florida bringing more rain to the storm battered region. The storm isn't expected to make direct landfall but it currently has winds of around 40 mph and will drop several inches of rain from the Keys to the Miami area.
Flash Flood Watches run up the East Coast of Florida up to the Cape Canaveral area for the weekend. After it hits Florida they're saying it'll be downgraded to just an Upper Level System but will continue to drop rain up the East Coast.
