Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival (Ponchatola)
April 7th-9th, 2017 Just west of Baton Rouge the town comes alive every April for all things strawberry! The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival is a FREE family friendly outdoor festival, tons of great food, games, entertainment, and fun for people of all ages .
Mudbug Madness (Shreveport)
May 25th-28th, 2017 Shreveport's annual Memorial Day festival is the perfect kickoff to summer! Mudbug Madness is the celebration of Crawfish with Live Music and Fun for the entire family. It all kicks off Thursday night with the annual 5k run.
French Quarter Festival (New Orleans)
April 6th-9th, 2017 While you'll have to pay for any food or alcohol you buy the French Quarter Festival is FREE to attend. This festival is a celebration of all things New Orleans with 21 stages and 400-plus hours of live entertainment.
Red River Reval (Shreveport)
October 7-14, 2017 This annual festival is thrown to celebrate visual and preforming arts aka tons of live music, shopping and fun for the kids! The Revel was spotlighted on Good Morning America and is ranked as a Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.
Christmas Festival of Lights (Natchitoches)
November-January 2017 For 6 weeks downtown Natchitoches is turned into a Christmas paradise with Kid’s Fest, carriage tours, food vendors along the downtown riverbank open nightly for your favorite festive treats and community organizations have Christmas programs scheduled throughout the season.
