Viva La Film Prize baby!

Shreveport's biggest film festival is back and better than ever as Louisiana Film Prize kicks off this Thursday!

Thursday night, check out the Louisiana Music Prize at Voodoo Cafe beginning at 6:00 PM. There, you have an opportunity to trade your ticket for a festival pass, and attend a great music event with six great bands from across the region.

Friday, the fun begins baby! 20 amazing films from all over the country, fighting for your vote! The movies begin rolling at 10:00 AM on Friday and roll non-stop from that point forward.

If Saturday works better for you, the films will begin at 9:00 AM.

You can get the full schedule by clicking HERE.

You have to watch all 20 films in order to cast your vote on the film that deserves $50,000! That's the grand prize, and you have all of the power.

There are several new-comers to the festival this year, and several film-makers coming back looking to grab that grand prize.

One film to watch out for is "Two Roads" by Christine Chen. Christine, Adam Duncan, and her crew with A Moth to Flame nearly won it all last year, but came up a little short, finishing with a top-5 film entitled "A Bird's Nest".

They're back with one thing on their mind, taking home the grand prize. After watching the teaser for "Two Roads", I've got my money on this film being a festival-favorite.

Here's the trailer!
