Louisiana’s Most Ordered Super Bowl Foods Has Unique Twist
The countdown has begun! Super Bowl 57 is only nine days away!
Kickoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is slated for 5:30 pm next Sunday, February 12.
That means that the clock is ticking and we only have eight full days to handle all the preparations. Since this year's game will be broadcast on Fox, those of us with satellite television from DirecTV or Dish Network have an extra chore this year.
Since the owners of Fox 33 have yet to reach an agreement with either of those two satellite providers making the channel unavailable for us, we either have to install a set of rabbit ears to grab the game or look for another provider. I'm thinking a large percentage of us are taking that option seriously.
Obviously, seeing the game is the biggest objective, but coming in a very close second place is the food!
Super Bowl Sunday could easily be the biggest finger-food day of the year! Nothing will kill a Super Bowl Party quicker than a lack of Rotel Dip and chips or a total disregard for buffalo wild wings and their importance.
However, when it comes to those foods we want delivered for the big game, last year, the gang at Waitr, now known as ASAP, said that the results of a survey they conducted weren't exactly unexpected, but there was one item that was unique to Louisiana.
ASAP made a list of the food people are craving for Super Bowl for each state, but the list of the Top Ten for Louisiana was the only list to include fried pickles!
