If You Have Spent Any Time on TikTok You Have Probably Heard the Word "Demure" More Than You Care to Admit.

Have you jokingly told anyone that you walked into work today "very demure"? The TikToker who started the "Demure" trend is a hilarious beauty influencer named Jools Lebron, and she told CBS News that she can't believe how big the trend has gotten.

Jools Lebron, used the word "demure" in a video on August 2nd and then followed up with another clip three days later and that is when it really blew up.

If you google the word "demure" you will see the dictionary defines it as "reserved" or "modest." For some reason, Louisiana loves the word, so much that Google Trends has Louisiana at the top. We are so obsessed with the word, that we keep googling the definition, okay maybe we don't love the word and we are just really lost and want to be in on the trend.

Louisiana stays at the top when it comes to searching the word "demure" according to Google Trends, and we started googling the word all over America on August 7th which matches up to the same day that the viral video was dropped.
