A just released video from the social media page LSU Football highlights the Tigers heralded pigskin past, by covering more than a century of highlights - 125 to be exact - in only 125 seconds.

Entitled, "The Glory of the Purole and Gold," the video goes all the way back to the first ever LSU contest in 1893, highlights early coaches like Coates, Jardeau and Gregg, including the Tigers first perfect season. It also includes a look at the glory years of the mid-20th century under the leadership of Paul Dietzel and Charlie McClendon.

No history of Tigers football would be complete without a slo-mo look at Billy Cannon's historic, Heisman winning run, preserved forever in grainy black and white, all the way to more recent national titles and coaches like Nick Saban and Les Miles. And, of course, it includes the Bengals most recent big win, the 2019 Fiesta Bowl triumph over Central Florida, ending the Orlando school's two-season winning streak.

But maybe the highlight of the two minutes and five seconds features "The Golden Band from Tigerland" and these words:  "It's four notes and chill bumps. And the correct way to spell 'geaux.'"
