The LSU Tigers will be a bit short handed for the rest of the year. Coach Ed Orgeron announced Monday afternoon that they will be without junior safety Todd Harris for the remainder of the season.

Harris suffered the season ending injury Saturday in the blowout win against Northwestern State. According to Orgeron, "It was an unfortunate accident. He just landed on the ground wrong."

The Four Star prospect played in 11 games as a sophomore, including one start and has played in all 3 games this season, recording three tackles. Coach O says that the team will red shirt Harris so the young star can save a year of eligibility. Harris will be replaced by junior JaCoby Stevens, who has been playing in the 'Quarters' safety position in certain packages.

Luckily for the Tigers, they have plenty of depth at the safety position with All-American Grant Delpit as well as junior Eric Monroe and true freshman Marcel Brooks.
