The NCAA has announced that LSU's Tiger Park will host regional tournament action beginning this weekend. The host team, the LSU Tigers were chosen as the number 10 seed overall.

The other teams that will be paying a visit to Baton Rouge will be coming from Monmouth University, Texas Tech University, and Louisiana Tech. Action will get underway on Friday at 2 pm with Texas Tech taking on Louisiana Tech.

The home-standing Tigers will face Monmouth in the late game which is expected to get underway at 4:30.

The winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will face the winner of the Minneapolis regional which features teams from the University of Minnesota, the University of Georgia, Drake, and North Dakota State.

LSU enters the tournament with an overall record of 40 wins and 16 losses. The Tigers finished the regular season in a three-way tie for the Southeastern Conference Championship.
