Not long ago it was announced that the ridesharing app Uber will be coming to Shreveport and now it looks like their rival Lyft will be as well. Lyft has officially joined the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce joining what's called the Chairman's Circle which means they paid at least $1,000 in fees making them a top contributor.

Erin Smith the chambers marketing director told KSLA "I think by Lyft opting to join the Chamber of Commerce shows that they are ready to be part of the Shreveport community and help grow business and the economy in our area."

While the company doesn't have official plans of when they'll be coming to Shreveport they're already searching for drivers.
