Man Attacks Wife Over A Sandwich

David Wayne Johnson was arrested by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office Saturday for a fight between himself and his wife. His wife says he charged at her.

The whole situation had to do with the fact that David's wife merely made him a sandwich, but she made their daughter a "gourmet meal".

Sheriff's officials were called out to the man's home in Eros on Saturday after the wife said she was attacked by her husband, and her leg was cut after he threw a plate to the floor.

When deputies were interviewing Johnson, he did admit to them that he had been drinking all day long.

As part of his statement to deputies, he told them that he was upset that all she fixed him was a sandwich and that's why he "wrestled his wife to the ground."

Johnson was arrested on two charges: Simple battery and Failure To Appear on an outstanding warrant.
