Is this a world record or a challenge for people obsessed with Chick-Fil-A?

Mark Mendenhall is a San Diego native and most of the employees at his local Chick-Fil-A now refer to him as "Mayor of Chick-Fil-A" after he set out to destroy a pretty unique record. Mendenhall heard about a man in Georgia who ate Chick-Fil-A for 100 days straight and committed to surpassing that mark.

Mendenhall said he's always been a fan of Chick-Fil-A because of their "atmosphere" and how "polite the team members were."

He originally set out for 105 days, but decided to "push himself further" to the 114 mark which wasn't easy. Of course Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays so his streak was always broken up by at least one day per week, but this dude actually interrupted a trip to Disneyland to keep the streak alive then returned when he was finished.

That was the awkward circumstance that actually caused Mendenhall to promise his wife that he would end his streak by their next family trip.

So, my wife promptly planned a vacation to Palm Springs — far enough away that I wouldn’t drive back but close enough so we didn’t have to fly anywhere

His record hasn't been a total selfish endeavor as Mendenhall has raised $1,000 for the Poway Unified School District Adopt-a-Family program.

Oh, and his order? An original Chicken Sandwich, fries, and a large Diet Coke.

My first thought was that with the new Chick-Fil-A in New Iberia there has to be at least one person who has eaten there every day over the last few weeks. Being that so many of our listeners are excited about the fast food chain's New Iberia location it could be a prime opportunity to bring the Chick-Fil-A trophy to Da Berry.

Could you do Chick-Fil-A for more than 114 days straight? If so, what would your order be?
