Mom, Ella Davidson, has been keeping her word and sending all kinds of fun updates from Dallas about Matthew and his Rock Camp Experience! We'll post her latest blog below, but wanted you to hear Matthew on with Bristol yesterday afternoon first!

Matthew talking to Bristol - Day 1 Kidd Kraddick Rock Camp:

Monday got off to an early, but great, start! The Rock Camp Band was interviewed live on the Kidd Kraddick show, and then they also performed “Breakeven”. They kicked off the interview segment with Matthew playing a solo part of a Red Hot Chili Peppers song.

The three others in the band also happen to be 13 years old. They are:

Halle Tomlinson – lead vocals and keyboard – Dallas, Texas

Hunter Knoche – drums – Frisco, Texas

Logan Williams – bass – San Antonio, Texas

Kidd and the others stopped in the band studio on breaks to say hello and watch the band rehearse. Tim Halperin thinks that Jenna Owens has a “crush” on Matthew, which didn’t hurt Matthew’s feelings at all. It was later confirmed on the air when Jenna said that it’s “true love”.

The band worked on an original song today, with the help of Evan Bogart from Los Angeles via Skype. Evan has written many songs, including “Tonight, Tonight”, which the band will play on the air tomorrow.

So, to summarize, Matthew was on the Kidd Kraddick show at three different times today. You can click on this link:

Thanks to Bristol from K945 in Shreveport who has asked Matthew to call in every day after Rock Camp with an update. You can go to www.k945.com and search “Matthew Davidson” for all of the website postings so far. Hometown support means a lot to Matthew and is very much appreciated.

The band will be performing live again tomorrow on the radio, and a surprise celebrity guest will be working with them. As for me, I’m trying to set a record for most hours spent in a Starbucks in one week using their wireless Internet.
