One Direction's latest hit has received some southern hospitality. Grab yourself a glass of sweet tea and sit a spell, won't y'all?

As if the restrained "Story of My Life" wasn't already enough of a stretch for usually upbeat, high-energy boy band, cover connoseiurs Postmodern Jukebox decided to give it a Louisiana makeover. The group recruited Miche Braden to transform the pop ballad into a "soulful, New Orleans-style jazz piece."

Braden's roots are grounded in Detroit's Funk Brothers, who are known for performing back-up for Motown on some of their biggest hits. Her fame stems from a long list of musical theater that has taken her all over the country.

No stranger to the spotlight, Braden also knocked out this cover in just one take. What do you think, Directioners?
