Mick Foley Shreds WWE Creative In Video On AEW

From personal experience, I can confirm what many in pro wrestling believe...Mick Foley is one of the nicest men in the world.

The Hardcore Legend, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, St. Mick...he's got a lot of names and gimmicks. Mick Foley is one of the most creative minds that pro wrestling has ever seen. He clearly knows how to make a believable character (even out of the unbelievable). It's obvious that he knows how to cut a promo, carry a match, and throw himself off a steel cage. So when Mick puts his voice behind a problem in pro wrestling, people generally listen.

Especially since Mick doesn't do it a lot. He's too nice. He thinks everything is great 99% of the time. So again, when he points out a problem, it usually means there's a really big problem.

Mick has now put his voice behind a problem he sees with the current state of WWE. Which is a problem many fans online have pointed at for years. Here is Mick addressing the issues he sees...

This blast on WWE Creative comes on the heels of the biggest pay-per-view even in history of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), WWE's new competition. The AEW ppv was called All Out, and it was Sunday, September 5th in Chicago. During All Out, AEW saw the first pro wrestling match for CM Punk in 7 years, the debut of Adam Cole, and the debut of Bryan Danielson. All three men were champions on WWE properties, and are three of the biggest names in modern pro wrestling. All three said "no" to WWE, to join AEW.

They're not alone though. There have been multiple, massive, stars who have told WWE 'no thank you' before heading to AEW.

It's not because AEW is paying more, WWE can outspend them on every wrestler if they wanted to. A lot of the stars making the move have talked about principals more than money. Which plays to what Mick said in his video...good wrestlers don't trust WWE. If you stay with WWE at this point, you're doing it for money. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
