Monster Trucks Coming to Shreveport This Summer

Monster Truck Maniacs will bring their motor show to the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport on Saturday, June 7th. Huge monster trucks are the main attraction, but the Globe of Death sounds just as interesting. Seeing videos online of the Globe of Death sets home how cool the feat of motorsport is.

What Would Shreveport's Monster Truck Look Like?

Monster trucks are well known for having awesome, over-the-top themes. Images of Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction are some of the first to come to mind. So, if Shreveport had its own themed monster truck, what should it be named? We thought of a couple of ideas; here are the ones we were proud enough to share.

Red River Rage - Inspired by the Red River, pretty basic.

Riverboat Ravager - Themed around the famous riverboat casinos found in Shreveport, could have a fun design using slot machine graphics and poker chips.

Crawdaddy - Big truck, but it's a big crawfish.

Honorable mention for the Semi-Smasher, in honor of those annoyed at the constant lockups on I-20 in Bossier because truck drivers can't seem to learn.
