New Program Hopes To Stop Violence in Shreveport

A joint program between the Shreveport Police Department and Caddo Crime Stoppers hopes to put an end to violence in Shreveport.

'End the Silence, Stop the Violence' is a new initiative to keep guns out of the hands of those more prone to commit a violent crime. The program offers a $300 for information that leads to an arrest of a felon possessing firearm.
