As a member of media sometimes you have to address things that go on in your life. The good times are amazing to share. I remember when I talked about getting married all of the calls and emails were fantastic. The bad times are a harder topic.

I totally understand why Larry Stogner announced in a recorded seguement the news that he's been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Larry has been an anchor on ABC's North Carolina station WTVD for 40 years, announced that he will be retiring.
