Nike Reporting 31% Sales Increase Since Kaepernick Ad
It's no secret that Nike has been the main topic of many conversations recently with many people being completely split. It all started when it was announced that Colin Kaepernick would be one of the new faces for Nike's Just Do It campaign for 2018. Kaepernick who hasn't played since 2016 started the protest where players kneel during the anthem saying "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."
Colin has been on Nike's payroll since 2011 but recently was made one of the faces of the company. Despite protests Nike is reporting that their sales following labor day as compared to last year have seen a 31% spike. Kaepernick is currently suing the NFL claiming the owners colluded to keep him out of the league due to the protest despite the league trying to have the case thrown out.
