Have you noticed anything odd about the Rendall Building? You're not alone.

Downtown Shreveport is home to the most haunted place in town, The Rendall Building. Built in 1922 as a drug store, the basement was a large walk-in freezer. Many funeral homes used the freezer to store corpses until burial time.

The building has since become restaurants and clubs.

Mirrors on the walls reveal figures standing behind patrons. Many have seen a man appear in the mezzanine listening to a Victrola that plays on its own.

Every night at 7 there is the sound of a door shutting and chains dragging on the floor. Patrons have seen a woman in white walk across the main room sobbing. Voices resonate from the basement. Items on shelves have been thrown across the room.

It appears those frozen corpses were never really dead to begin with.
