1st Annual Highland Block Party
Saturday from 3-7pm at 2601 Highland Ave there will be a block party put on by two local charities that help children in the area: Roy's Kids and Boys II Young Men. This is a FREE event sponsored by the Louisiana Meat Store. There will also be a BBQ cook off.

Cody Jinks at the Municipal

Saturday at the Remington Suite Hotel and Spa Rooftop the "Best Comedy Hypnosis Show" from Las Vegas will be going down at 8 pm with doors opening at 7 pm. Must be 21 and up to attend. Click here for ticket information.

Harrah's Louisiana Downs Family Movie Night
On Sunday Harrah's Louisiana Downs will be hosting a family movie night from 6:30 to 10 pm. This is a free event! Do bring some cash for food trucks that will be set up. They also suggest bringing picnic gear to enjoy the movie comfortable. There will also be a kid's zone.
