Ozzy Osbourne to Be Featured On Post Malone’s New Album
Superstar rapper Post Malone has revealed a number of guest appearances on his upcoming album Hollywood's Bleeding, and among them is none other than the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne.
Along with Ozzy, the album, which drops Sept. 6, will feature a wealth of other popular artists including Halsey and Travis Scott. This will mark the first time Osbourne has been featured on anther artist's music since he appeared on Black Label Society's "Stillborn" in 2003.
Despite a number of serious medical setbacks throughout 2019, Ozzy looked and sounded great in a recent interview on SiriusXM where he called 2019 "one of the most fucked up years" of his life. With his road to recovery looking quite positive, it'll be interesting to hear him on new music in the very near feature.
Though Post Malone has made a huge impact in hip-hop and beyond in pop culture, it's no secret the musician is a huge fan of rock music. Before he was a superstar hip-hop artist talking about the rockstar life, he was actually in a metalcore band called Ashley's Arrival back in high school. He also auditioned to be the guitarist for metalcore band Crown the Empire back in 2010, but his string broke during the audition and he didn't end up getting the gig.
Since then, the rapper has dabbled in the rock world often. He has frequently been seen onstage smashing guitars and even performed with Aerosmith at MTV's 2018 VMAs and the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the 2019 Grammy's.
You can hear his collaboration with Ozzy when Hollywood's Bleeding drops this coming Friday, but if you're feeling skeptical you can check out our argument for why Post Malone is actually good for rock and metal here
