Paula Patton Files For Divorce From Robin Thicke

Paula Patton announced Wednesday that she has filed for divorce from husband Robin Thicke, TMZ reports.

Patton cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, and is asking for shared custody of their four-year-old son, Julian.

In a statement, the pair said, "We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

Thicke made several grand gestures to win Patton back after their separation back in February, including a poorly-selling album.
