50 Cent Promises a G-Dome Twice as Big in Shreveport
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has brought a one-of-a-kind massive event to our community and the buzz hasn't stopped. Humor & Harmony Weekend was one of the most epic weekends that Shreveport residents have ever seen. Not only did he leave the city looking better than before the event, but we can't get over the celebrities he brought to town and the epic comedy show, the car show, a celebrity basketball game, a fitness fest, and countless pop-up events.
One of My Favorite Things About Humor & Harmony Weekend Was the G-Dome.
Downtown Shreveport looked different and one of the reasons downtown looked so different was because of the giant dome in the middle of the city. The G-Dome structure took time to go up in downtown Shreveport and it was worth the wait.
Crews worked for several days getting the G-Dome up and going and several businesses around gave themselves some much-needed facelifts. We loved the community feeling Shreveport proud.
Seeing People Use the Egg Emoji to Talk About the G-Dome Has Been Hilarious.
If you see a Shreveport resident using an egg emoji on social media, they're talking about the G-Dome. It turns out you may not want to retire the egg emoji just yet, it looks like we will be seeing a permanent G-Dome soon. 50 Cent took to his Instagram to promise a permanent one, and some sources claim that 50 Cent mentioned wanting one twice as big. His post on Instagram said "Don’t worry the permanent G-DOME will be being built shortly and now I know what we just had wasn’t big enough. Let’s go let’s get it!"
