This Fan-Favorite BBQ Joint is Coming to Stonewall

The Stonewall community just got some incredible news. Podnuh's BBQ has officially announced they're bringing their fan-favorite BBQ to DeSoto Parish. The crew is taking over the old Cousin's Cajun Market, and this new eatery is especially close to their hearts.

It Feels Like Coming Home

In their Facebook announcement, owners Chris and Christina explained that their roots run deep in DeSoto Parish since all three of their kids either attend or graduated from North DeSoto.

"Bringing Podnuh’s to Stonewall feels like coming home," they said. "We can’t wait to serve the community that means so much to our family with the same BBQ you’ve loved for years. Thank you, Stonewall, for welcoming us with open arms. We’re fired up to be here opening early October!"

What to Expect from Podnuh's in Stonewall

The plan is to open in early October, and they're even staying open late after North DeSoto home games for all the football fans to pick up some BBQ after the game!

They also announced they'll be introducing a brand-new kids' menu at this location. While they're still finalizing it, you can expect favorites like sliders, corndogs, and chicken tenders—all served with a side (and yes, their mac & cheese is kid-approved). They also plan to continue selling candy to the tumbling and gymnastics kids.

As for the main event? The meat is smoked on-site! Their brand-new smoker is already in, and it's a beauty. It sounds like Stonewall is about to get a whole lot tastier.
