Police Release Surveillance Video of Shooting Suspect

Shreveport police have released surveillance video of the suspect in an apartment complex shooting.

Detectives hope it will lead to the identity and capture of whoever shot 22-year-old Benjamin Smith Monday morning at Clear Horizons Apartments in the 4300 block of Illinois Avenue.

Smith continues to recover from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Police believe the shooting stemmed from a verbal dispute between Smith and the suspect.
