Project Princess Is Underway!

Project Princess Dress drop-off to be held at Horseshoe Casino and Hotel!!!

(Bossier City, LA) - It is prom time in the Ark-La-Tex and our HERO team is helping dress some local teens for the special occasion, all while helping a great cause. We are collecting new and gently-used semi-formals and formals of all styles and sizes for Project Princess. Project Princess Gowns can be dropped off in the Horseshoe Pavilion (inside the main entrance) during the following dates and times:

Monday, Feb. 20 thru Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 from 11am - 1pm

On March 24, 2012, we will host the Project Princess Dress Sale at Harrah’s Louisiana Downs in the Red River room. We will sell ALL dresses for $25.00 or LESS with all proceeds going to Providence House and its program for victims of domestic and sexual abuse. Currently 20 families with children and 15 single women live in the Domestic Violence Safe House.

It is time to clean out your closet and bring us that dress you will never wear again! Bring in a dress or gown to Horseshoe February 20-25, 2012, and receive a coupon for a complimentary meal in our new buffet “The Spread”.
