Shreveport Business Set to Close Unless they Can Find a New Owner
After being open for six years, one Shreveport business says it'll have to close by the end of summer unless they're able to find a buyer.
Could this be a prime investment opportunity for someone in Shreveport-Bossier City?
Red Herring Escape Rooms made the announcement late last week that they'll have to close their doors by the end of the summer if they don't find a buyer. However, for a limited time, you can still play their escape room riddles. Here's what Red Herring's 'goodbye' email had to say:
We'd like to let you know that after 6 years of amazing fun, laughter, and excitement, Red Herring Escape Rooms will be closing its doors.
It's a very bittersweet end of a chapter for us as owners and staff. While we love Red Herring and would love to see it continue, we simply have other priorities at this point in time and aren't able to put in the time and energy it deserves.
Unless we find a buyer to continue the business, which is our sincere hope, we expect to close no later than the end of the summer.
All of our rooms are still open to play until then -- if there's a room you haven't played, or you were waiting for a reason to come visit us, now is the time!
We have loved serving and spending time with you all, and we are so grateful for your business. If you or anyone you know would be interested in purchasing Red Herring and continuing the adventure, please email owners@redherringescape.com with any questions. We'd love to speak with you!
After making it through the pandemic, we hate to see another local business closing its doors unless an investor is found. Can you imagine everything the team at Red Herring had to do to sanitize the rooms after each use? You know it was a labor of love. Speaking of the rooms, Red Herring has four rooms for your enjoyment including Museum of the Strange, Peril in the Amazon, This One Time, in the 90s, and A Trip to the Asylum.
I'm lucky enough to have been a guest at Red Herring twice so far. I've been through the Fisherman's Catch and 90s-themed rooms. In case you're wondering, no, we didn't 'solve' the puzzle/room. However, my family had a great time! I'd hate to see this business close. We hear people all the time saying that we don't have enough family-friendly things to do in Shreveport-Bossier. In case you were wondering, escape rooms are completely family-friendly!
Are you looking for an investment opportunity? Maybe Red Herring Escape Rooms is the perfect new venture for you!
