Red River Brewpub is Making the Big Move to Bossier City
It seems like Bossier's East Bank District gets bigger and better every day. The area has grown from a handful of shops to a cool destination filled with one of a kind experiences. Among the unique shopping and axe throwing (which is totally a real thing you can do at Bayou Axe, btw) are a few must-stop spots delicious food and awesome locally brewed beer. Thanks to a recent announcement, Bossier's East Bank will be the home of another beer-lover's paradise.
Although Red River Brewpub has been teasing the move for several months on their official Facebook page, executive director Ally Bean finally let the cat out of the bag in regards to the company's future in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. Late last week, she announced that the popular beer-joint would be making the move to Bossier City.
According to KSLA's coverage of the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday February 25th, Bean had this to say:
Yeah, we’re excited because this is really becoming an entertainment district for Bossier City and with other entities like BeauxJax and Flying Heart and Bayou Action, and we’re kind of excited to be joining that east bank mafia team and see people traversing from one business to the next and really support one another in our new location down here
According to the Bossier Press, the new location will be at 310 Mansfield Street and is expected to open this year in late summer.
