Red River Entertainment District Presents ‘SummerFest’ This Saturday [AUDIO]

Come out for SummerFest in the District! It's an afternoon of FREE family fun in downtown Shreveport this weekend! The place to be this Saturday is the Red River Entertainment District in downtown Shreveport for SummerFest!

The party starts at 12 p.m. under the Texas Street Bridge in Shreveport. It's the July installment of SummerFest in the District. The celebration continues until 3 p.m.

Come out for local food trucks, area entertainment venues, live music and street performers!

Grab a bite to eat from Jester Cetering, Lilah's Bakery, Missing Link, and Grill of the Dead. Listen to music from a band that is new to the area; Red River Son. Be entertained by stilt walkers, jugglers, and magicians.

Thunder Road Raceway will be there giving you an up close and personal with one of their dragsters. There will be inflatables for the kids. Holiday Lanes will challenge you in some outdoor bowling. Splash Kingdom will be entertaining the kids and raffling off some cool prizes.
