According to the ASPCA "Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized (670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats)." The numbers are heartbreaking. The good news is that we have so many people who choose to represent those that can't help themselves. If only we could all spay and neuter our animals the world would be a happier place. Did you know that 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted each year? It's all thanks to those who choose to adopt instead of supporting puppy mills and also to the wonderful volunteers and organizations that lobby for the helpless animals.

Robinson's Rescue is hoping one of your new year's resolutions is to volunteer! Robinson's Rescue is hosting an open house so you can get to meet some of the volunteers and check out a few of their in-clinic volunteer jobs available. This Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Robinson's Rescue Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. Located at 2515 Line Ave, in Shreveport. Hot Dawg Hut will be out there as well and they'll have all of your favorite hot dogs with the proceeds benefitting Robinson's Rescue.
