Ronda Rousey Starring In Film Based On Autobiography
Ronda Rousey
Right after winning the UFC Bantamweight Championship this past weekend, mixed martial arts fighter Ronda Rousey is headed to the big screen.
Rousey will play herself in a forthcoming movie based on her best-selling autobiography, "My Fight/Your Fight", according to Variety. Rights to the book were secured by Paramount Pictures, and executive producer Mary Parent will serve as producer with a screenplay by Mark Bomback, who adapted the book.
"Can't wait to work with Paramount, the talented Mark Bomback and Mary Parent!" Rousey posted on her Instagram page.
This won't be Rousey's first appearance in a film. She appeared as herself in the big-screen version of HBO's Entourage, and has also starred in The Expendables 3 and Furious 7.
