Rosie Perez Leaves ‘The View’…Again

Rosie Perez is leaving The View, this time for good.

Deadline reports that Perez's last appearance on the show will be August 6.

"Our friend Rosie Perez has decided to leave the show at the conclusion of this season to pursue full time her love for acting," said The View executive producer Bill Woolf in a statement. "Stepping into the role of talk show host at the same time she has been starring on Broadway has been incredibly impressive. And beyond being an enormously talented performer, Rosie is a dedicated advocate who has brought passion and insight to the panel every day."

Perez previously stepped down from The View back in January to rehearse for Larry David's Broadway play Fish in the Dark, but that turned out to be temporary. She returned to the show the following February.
