Ruston Man Faces More Than 1,400 Charges!
Allegedly, Jarious Eseiah Bell done goofed. The Ruston man was arrested back in December of 2015 for using fraudulent information to purchase 9 vehicles. Seeing this huge red flag, investigators started looking into Jarious' past. Officials had no idea that Mr. Bell was a very accomplished fraudster. According to KSLA, the investigation culminated in "1,389 counts of money laundering, 30 counts of bank fraud, 16 counts of fraudulent acquisition of credit cards and 1 count of computer fraud."
Authorities have also arrested Jarious' 37-year-old girlfirend, Kretena Monek Hunter in connection with the case. They even have "his and hers" bonds. His is set at $2 million, hers at $500,000.
He was definitely vehicle-rich. Among the vehicles he bought: 2015 Alfa Romeo, a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS, a 2014 Dodge Challenger, a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup, a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, and a 2015 Voltage fifth-wheel travel trailer.
The Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office also recovered a stolen 2015 Chevrolet Camaro during the initial arrest.
