Sarah Michelle Gellar Joins ‘Cruel Intentions’ TV Reboot
Kathryn Merteil is back, all grown up and meaner than ever!
Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed on to reprise her role in the 1999 movie Cruel Intentions, which is being remade as a pilot for NBC.
The projected series picks up where the movie left off, and will also feature the characters of Annette Hargrove (originally played by Reese Witherspoon) and Bash Velmont, son of the late Sebastian Velmont (played by Ryan Phillippe).
Gellar is best known for her role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and has starred on other shows since then, including The Crazy Ones, in which she co-starred with the late Robin Williams.
