Shreveport & Bossier, You’re Acting Like Your Mother
Mothers, we love them, they drive us crazy, we'll do anything for them, and one day, we become them!
I have an incredible relationship with my mother. I love her dearly and would do anything for her, but there are certain things about her that make me laugh. She takes everything literally and is the queen of stating the obvious, despite that, I wouldn't change a thing about her. That's why, as I get older, I'm not too surprised to hear things coming out of my mouth that I know have been heavily influenced by having my mother in my life. After all, she's been a major factor in shaping who I am as a person today.
That's why, when I saw a similar topic come up on Reddit, I thought it would be interesting to explore by asking, in what ways, both positive and negative, are you becoming your mother? I've always said you could tell I come from the Bossier side of the river because our mommas always asked for their Tupperware back, and I stand by that statement to this day. 😂 But what are some of the other ways that your mother is manifesting herself in you, even if she's no longer with you? Here are some of my favorite responses.

Several of those made me laugh out loud and several made me sad. So, what say you Shreveport-Bossier City? How are you turning into your mother? I'd love to hear it, especially if it's heartwarming! Shoot me a message using our free app or send me an email at erin.bristol@townsquaremedia.com.
