SFD Responds to Former Employee’s Guilty Plea

The Shreveport Fire Department releases a statement regarding a former employee.

Today, Shreveport Deputy Fire Chief Ronald O. Jones was made aware of the guilty plea in a court of law by a former fire communications officer, who was terminated for policy violations.

Stephen St. John was hired October 16, 1996, and terminated June 3, 2014. St. John was a 17-year veteran at the time of his termination.

St. John pled guilty to child pornography possession.
