Sha’Carri Richardson Offered Huge Weed Endorsement
By now, we're all familiar with Sha'Carri Richardson and her unfortunate situation.
She's arguably the fastest woman in America. Yes, even faster than girls in Shreveport-Bossier who I ask on a date. Those girls can run away very fast, but they've got nothing on Sha'Carri Richardson.
Several months ago, it would appear that America's fastest woman was destined for glory on the global scale by representing the United State at the Tokyo Olympics this Summer. That dream for Louisiana's own Richardson came crashing down a few weeks ago after testing positive for marijuana use.
Of course, the majority of Louisianians and Americans sided with Richardson. Sure, she made a mistake, even she admitted that. However, in the grand scheme of things, smoking something that is completely legal in many states across the country, while a trans weightlifter from New Zealand will be allowed to compete against biological women, seems a little extreme.
As soon as a the news broke, many Americans were downright upset with the decision to keep her out of the Olympics. Even then, many of us predicted a weed endorsement on the horizon.
Now, it looks like Richardson will have the chance to earn a quarter of a million bucks if she chooses to accept. Vape company Dr. Dabber has officially offered Richardson $250K to endorse their products. The company claims to specialize in "all things weed", so maybe it's a perfect fit.
Richardson has yet to accept or decline their endorsement opportunity.
According to TMZ Sports, Dr. Dabber has released a statement on Richardson, saying, "Considering your talent and grace over these past weeks, we would love to offer you the opportunity to work with our team as a spokesperson for Dr. Dabber. This entails testing our award-winning dab rigs and vape pens as a resident ‘doctor."
