Charlie Sheen isn't hiding his disappointment at the new direction of his former sitcom "Two and a Half Men".

TMZ caught up with Sheen in Los Angeles Thursday and asked him his thoughts on the show's drop in ratings since its season premiere. "People aren't stupid", he said, adding, "Not all of them."

As for Ashton Kutcher, his replacement on the show who plays broken-hearted billionaire Walden Schmidt, Sheen said, "He's doing the best he can. I don't think the role is cursed, but I'm extremely disappointed with how they're handling what I left behind."
