Don’t Miss Shreveport’s Own Chef Niema on Food Network

If you had to point to one thing that Louisiana does extremely well, it would have to be the food. Cajun, creole, French inspired...Louisiana is a culinary delight with tons of diverse and flavorful options. It really is our calling card and gift to the world. It doesn't matter if you're in Shreveport, Lake Charles or New Orleans, you WILL find you something good to eat.

And now, one of our popular Shreveport chefs will be headed to Food Network to take on Bobby Flay on his show "Beat Bobby Flay".

Abby Singer's Executive Chef Challenges Bobby Flay

First off, if you haven't been to Abby Singer's Bistro at the Robinson Film Center lately, you're missing out. The food and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic! Personally, I'm in love with the Duck Nachos. But whether you're looking for a cocktail, a burger or anything in between, Abby Singer's has you covered.

But, the reason I bring up Abby Singer's is that their executive chef Niema DiGrazia will be featured this month in an upcoming episode of 'Beat Bobby Flay'. The episode titled 'Fight Like a Lion' will air on Food Network May 29th at 8 PM.

As stated by the Robinson Film Center, Chef Niema's appearance on 'Beat Bobby Flay' will showcase her growing national reputation for bold, soulful cuisine and innovative culinary storytelling. Niema, who is originally from Sierra Leone, says that her cooking is a mix of her African roots and Louisiana ties - "Every time I cook, I carry both places in my spirit — the boldness of Sierra Leone and the soul of Louisiana — and I let them dance together on the plate.”

Where Can You Watch 'Beat Bobby Flay'?
