It's time for the Shreveport Farmer's Market to open for the 2021 season.
Saturday, June 5th is opening day for the market which is held at Festival Plaza.
The market is open each Saturday through August 28th from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
You will find fresh fruits and veggies along with plants, meats, herbs, locally grown honey and much more. You can also check out home bake goods like breads, cakes and cookies and a wide variety of jams, jellies, pickles and other homemade products.
While doing your shopping, you can also grab a bite to eat. Food vendors will be set up at the market.
There is free parking at meters and surrounding downtown lots. Some vendors will accept credit/debit cards, but there is an ATM at the site.
Masks are not required.
