Shreveport Filled With Hope and Joy After ’50 Cent’ Speech
It Was a Day Full of Joy, Hope and Excitement in Shreveport.
Shreveport held a celebration for "50 Cent", there was a ceremonial press conference on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 4 pm on the steps of Government Plaza, located at 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana and Shreveport showed up.
Shreveport Councilman Boucher claims that he has never seen so many people downtown and he wasn’t lying. The crowd was filled with hopeful residents who wanted to hear Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson speak.
“50 Cent” Was All Smiles and His Attitude Was Infectious.
The crowd never got unruly however people were screaming at one point Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson paused and said “I love you too baby” which caused an eruption of laughter. It wasn’t a speech about business plans, it was a message of hope and a vision for the town of Shreveport. The promise of jobs and a new direction for Shreveport. “50 Cent” looked at the crowd and said “Shreveport has a great Mayor” and we love seeing and hearing businesses and entrepreneurs of all scales celebrate Shreveport's readiness to help new business grow.

The crowd couldn’t contain its excitement. It was a beautiful day for everyone who calls Shreveport home.

Could we expect more clubs moving into downtown Shreveport? In the media room “50 Cent” claimed that he wanted to add more to the downtown nightlife so after big events we have clubs to go to. We love the promise of a better and more fun Shreveport.
