Shreveport Home Invasion Leaves Man Wounded
Frightening moments for a family in the Mooretown neighborhood in Shreveport. Police were called to a report of a violent home invasion in the 4000 block of Mandelane Street on Saturday morning.
The resident was trying to let his girlfriend in the back door of the home when two men wearing black masks burst in and robbed the man. The resident was shot in the head and in his back. The suspects ran off after the shooting.
The victim was transported to Ochsner LSU health to be treated for what has been described as non life threatening wounds.
